History

The Community Trust Foundation, Inc. has a concentrated and deliberate focus on community vitality. We consider the community to be the primary recipient of our services. Building better, stronger, more vital communities in the region is the principal business of the Community Trust Foundation.  As such, our grant making, convening, donor services and other program work we do with community stakeholders, nonprofits, donors and partners are considered a means to the end of building stronger cities, towns, and communities that comprise the region in western Maryland and the bordering Mineral County, West Virginia.

Mission

The mission of the Community Trust Foundation, Inc. is to strengthen the region by working in partnership with donors and community groups. We accomplish our mission by:
